Refacing is replacing existing cabinet doors and drawer faces with new, upgraded doors and faces. Your existing cabinet boxes are painted to match the new doors and drawer faces.

Cabinet refacing usually provides more bang for the buck than simply refinishing or replacing cabinets entirely. It allows you to get new appearing cabinets for a significantly lower price. The investment in your home is generally well worth the cost. It is also a much faster and less intrusive process than replacing whole cabinets. Cabinet refacing also allows you to increase door size if needed, upgrade hardware, and do other customizations to improve the look and feel of your cabinets.

All refacing jobs use hard maple doors and drawer faces. Hard maple is a very durable wood with dense, tight grain that is basically unnoticeable when painted.

Refacing generally takes 3-5 days for a typical kitchen project. The old doors are removed and discarded. Your existing cabinet exteriors are sanded with the help of HEPA dust collection to minimize mess. Your existing cabinets are then painted to any color you choose and new doors and drawer faces are installed with new hardware.
